Modern 3 bedroom apartment in the luxury resort Casa Banderas in la Cala de Mijas.
The apartments Casa Banderas are located in a quiet area just 2 km from the old fishing village La Cala and the beach. Casa Banderas has beautiful gardens with a waterfall, spacious swimming pools, free to use fitness center, paddle tennis, children's playground and sauna. There is also a free to use relaxation room next to the pool with a terrace with bar and two barbecues. From the apartment and pool you can enjoy the beautiful views of the valley, the mountains of Mijas and the Mediterranean Sea.
The apartment is modernly furnished and equipped with all comforts. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a modern open plan kitchen with all necessary appliances. The apartment has 2 terraces, 1 on the northeast and 1 on the southwest so there is always a place in the sun, or just in the shade. The terrace near the living room has views of the valley and the mountains of Mijas and the terrace near the kitchen has beautiful sea view.
The Casa Banderas complex is not a holiday resort, but a residential complex with apartments for permanent residence. Some flats are also rented out for holiday purposesn by the owners. Both owners and tenants/visitors are required to follow the rules for rest and relaxation, both in the flat and in all indoor and outdoor communal areas. There is permanent surveillance to enforce the communal rules.
Please note that in the close proximity of the resort there is building work going on, which during work days will cause some noise. And sand on the terraces and walls.
The accommodation is very suitable for families with children.

- the terrace near the living room has views of the valley and the mountains of Mijas. This is the ideal place for a delicious breakfast at the dining table with 6 chairs or to relax with a book on the corner lounge sofa. There is also an electric Weber barbecue for outside usage.
- also the terrace near the kitchen has an awning. Here is a terrace table with 6 chairs where you and your family can enjoy a refreshing drink while enjoying the beautiful sea view.
Swimming pool
- the resort has beautiful gardens with palm trees, lawn and a waterfall
- there are 2 outdoor swimming pools (not heated) with sunbathing area, outdoor showers and sun beds.
Update: The outdoor pools are normally open - however outside high season (July/August) they may close them in case of bad weather, demand, draught messures / maintanance etc. The sunbeds are useable but without cushions. You have to bring your own pool towels. (they can be rented through our office as well). The spa/ indoor pool remains closed until further notice.
Due to the drought, all swimming pools on the Costa del Sol are closed from the end of 2023 to mid-June 2024. From mid-June to the end of September 2024, they are allowed to open. And after that, they have to shut again until further notice from the government.

The resort Casa Banderas
- at the main pool you will find a comfortable relaxation area with a terrace with a bar, terrace furniture and 2 barbecues. You have to clean the barbecue yourselves after using it.
- here you will also find the well-equipped fitness center with sauna. Sauna use has to be requested at the concierge entrance of resort.
- at the resort there is also a children's playground with a paddle court next door. (the playground and paddle court are at some distance from the apartment so you will not experience any noise)
- Update: The gym, paddle court and children’s play area, the social area and BBQ area are open.
